Effective 2026-05-25 · operated by an individual in Florida, United States · contact: tickwise@tickwise.tech

Plain-English summary: TickWise is an open-source software project. We don't custody your money, we don't trade for you, we don't give financial advice. If you self-host the software, you're solely responsible for your account, your capital, and your decisions. The marketing site (this domain) just shows you what the project is and lets you sign up for release notifications.

1. Who we are

"TickWise" refers to the software project at tickwise.tech and the associated open-source code repositories under github.com/tickwise-tech. The project is operated by an individual based in Florida, United States. References to "we", "us", "our", and "operator" refer to that individual.

2. What this site is

The website at tickwise.tech is a static marketing page describing the TickWise software, a demonstration dashboard with synthetic data, and an email-signup form for release notifications. It is not a trading platform. No orders are placed through this site, no funds are accepted, no accounts are issued.

3. What TickWise (the software) is

TickWise is an open-source algorithmic liquidity-provision tool designed to run on the operator's own infrastructure against the public Polymarket prediction-market exchange. Users who self-host the software are solely responsible for:

4. No financial advice

Nothing on this site, in the software, in the documentation, in the X/Telegram channels, or in any communication from TickWise constitutes investment, financial, legal, tax, or trading advice. Prediction-market contracts can and do lose value. Past performance does not predict future results. The software ships with default configurations that have not been audited, certified, or back-tested by any third party. Do your own research and consult licensed professionals before deploying capital.

5. No custody, no fiduciary duty

We do not accept deposits, do not custody user funds, and do not take any fiduciary responsibility for users' trading decisions. All trading occurs directly between the user's wallet and the Polymarket smart contracts. We have no ability to seize, freeze, or recover user funds.

6. Open source license

The TickWise software is released under the MIT License. The license text is included in each repository. The license grants broad rights to use, modify, and distribute the software, subject to the disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability included in the license. Reading and accepting the LICENSE file in each repository is a prerequisite to using the software.

7. Builder code attribution

The TickWise software ships with a default builder code that attributes Polymarket volume to the project's wallet, which receives the weekly builder reward paid by Polymarket from a promotional pool funded entirely by Polymarket. This default is documented in the repository README and can be replaced by the user with their own builder code or disabled entirely via an environment variable. Use of the default builder code does not affect the user's own trading P&L; the reward comes from Polymarket's pool, not from the user.

8. Acceptable use of this site

You may not:

9. Email communication

If you submit your email through the signup form, you consent to receive a one-time confirmation email from tickwise@tickwise.tech and, in the future, infrequent (less than monthly) milestone notifications about the project's open-source release. You may opt out at any time by replying to any such email with the word UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject or body.

10. X / Twitter activity

We operate the X account @TickwiseTech using the official X API for outbound automated status posts only. We do not collect, store, or process data about any other X user. Content posted to our account is also subject to X's own Terms of Service.

11. Third-party services

This site and the broader project depend on third-party services, each governed by their own terms:

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or terms of any third-party service.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The site, the software, the documentation, and all related materials are provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site or software will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the operator be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, capital, or trading positions, arising from the use of or inability to use the site, the software, or any related materials, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The operator's total cumulative liability for any claim arising from these terms or the use of the site shall not exceed one U.S. dollar (USD $1.00).

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made. Material changes will be noted on the TickWise X channel and Telegram channel. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.
